Obituary for William Quigley

William Quigley
William “Bill” S. Quigley Sr., 62, of Hobe Sound, Florida, passed away on Sunday morning, August 27, 2017, peacefully in his sleep.

Born September 8, 1954 to Hugh and Rose Quigley in Dorchester, Massachusetts and raised in Hanover, Massachusetts.

He is survived by brothers two John and Paul; one sister Theresa; three daughters Erin, Sarah and Elizabeth; and two sons William Jr. and Michael, as well as numerous beloved family members.

“Bill” was a man of many talents and abilities. After serving in the U.S. Army, he was known mostly as a Butcher, Truck driver and Steel worker. A man of family, there was little he wouldn’t do to help those he loved. If it was within his power or influence there was never a second thought. He will undoubtedly be remembered for his passion and great sense of humor in life.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 10:00 am at Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 392 Hanover Street, Hanover, Massachusetts 02339. Military Honors and Presentation of the Flag by the United States Army Military Honor Guard will immediately follow at the church.
