Obituary for Gwendolyn Bennett

Gwendolyn Bennett
Our beautiful mother Gwendolyn Schutte Bennett was called to heaven Saturday, July 8, 2017 by her loving husband where a joyous reunion befell this day.
Gwen was born 71 years ago to Henry (senior bellhop-Biltmore Dayton) and Hazel (devoted homemaker) Schutte who raised her in a modest 3 bedroom home on Ashwood Ave in Dayton Ohio. She was so blessed to have seven adoring siblings and an abundance of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In 1964 Gwen happily married a sassy sailor/computer guru named Donald Bennett whom she shared a life-long love affair. Their union was blessed with 3 endlessly devoted children and 3 amazing grandchildren who fiercely loved and protected them both to their bittersweet passing. Gwen will be missed, however her memory is forever emblazoned in our hearts as she now dwells in the house of the Lord.
Gwen was preceded in death by her adoring husband Donald Bennett, father Henry Schutte, and her precious brother Bruce Schutte; all of whom she has been joyfully reunited with in the presence of our savior.
Gwen is survived by her three children and spouses Gary & Linda Bennett (Hollywood, FL), Natalie & Bryan VanLandingham (Palm City, FL), and Chad Bennett (Dayton, OH). Surviving also are her grandchildren Anthony Bennett, Derek Bennett, and Scott VanLandingham. In addition survived by her adorable 102 year old mother Hazel Schutte , her siblings Dale & Maureen Schutte, Bev & Larry Krapp, Judy & Ron Paul, Charlene & Lynn Bolender, and Carlene & Lowell Nihizer.
A memorial service will be held in Dayton Ohio to be announced at a later date.
